Primary Health Care: Aroyewun Commences Improvement Of Bayeku PHC

The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Omo’ba Hammed Aroyewun, has embarked on a new projects and rehabilitation of the existing facilities at the Bayeku Primary Health Centre (PHC) in his commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery and improving public health infrastructure.

The council is embarking on construction of a new three-bedroom office complex to improve administrative efficiency at the centre, reconstruction of Environmental and Joint Task Force Office. It also giving the existing structure a facelift. The project is scheduled to be completed within one month.

Recall that the Chairman promised to upgrade the facility during his physical assessment tour of the Bayeku Primary Heath Centre (PHC) and other facilities within the council, on the second day of his resumption in office. During the tour, the new council helmsman and members of his team were faced with sorry state of the health facility.

Aroyewun, who tour the ongoing project on Thursday, asserts that the improvement is designed to enhance the functionality and capacity of the Bayeku PHC.

According to the project information provided by the council, Komad Creative Enterprise is handling the project which is been supervised by the Works and Infrastructure Department of the council

He expressed his commitment to improving the wellness of the people of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA through the provision of quality primary health facilities and services and other allied services.

“Our focus is on bringing healthcare closer to our people. Our people deserve quality medical services without traveling long distances, and that’s exactly what we’re delivering,” Aroyewun stated.

He expressed satisfaction with the level and pace of work, commending both the contractor and supervising engineers for their professionalism.
